What that chart doesnt take into account is that co2 is not the only greenhouse gas (a class of gasses that effectively trap infrared in the atmosphere) in the atmosphere and not the only one being emitted.
also: warmer temperatures have a strong effect in the north, where permafrost covers the land. As permafrost thaws, biological remnants of old plants and animals begin to decompose and release methane, which is a very potent greenhouse gas. Also, livestock (like cows) which are raised in increasing numbers as human populations continue to rise, also emit a significant amount of methane.
