they unironically get their opinions from this website and their only argument is the appeal to mockery - a fallacy, but they hide the personal incredulity fallacy pretty well
the problem with America and covid is that they aren't vaxxed enough and don't follow rules
compare any two similar countries with different vax rates - such as chile and Argentina, and you'll know what I mean
anyway, once you're old enough you should be able to regardless
and don't hate your mom for her opinions, she may be gullible and stubborn but I'm assuming she has good intentions
