Hello, I have always liked math, ever since I was a child, and even during my university studies (majored in economics, minored in math) i really liked writing proofs and learning new theorems (never did anything super advanced, but id say number theory is pretty interesting).
Anyway, so while looking for career opportunities I inevitably came across programming, and after learning quite a bit about it (ive known C and python for a couple of years -not that you can ever truly learn C - and lately some javascript, and also because of C, a tiny bit of assembly), ive come to the conclusion that I really hate it.
It seriously makes me sick. I usually hear that if you like puzzles and math then you should like programming, but I absolutely do not and I think Id blow my brains out if I had to do it for a career. Is this normal? Are mathfags pretending to like coding for the bucks? And what is a good non coding career for someone who likes math?
