Think about it OP, we have a permanent solution to fixing our contribution to rising carbon monoxide gasses, that is called nuclear energy, we even have methods for recycling and safely discarding the used nuclear material, there is a permanent solution to this problem but it isn't being acted upon because permanently fixing something like this means less money can be made from it.
