A bit of back story. I was always fascinated with left-handers and I dreamed of using my left hand as my dominant hand. I always wondered if I was supposed to be left handed because I was left footed and I was a little more able with my left hand than most right handers. Also, my father greatly discouraged any experimentation with my left hand.

I went to college and I decided I wanted to become left-handed and since I was on my own, I could do that while causing relatively little family conflict. I did it!!!! I could use my left handed as well as well or nearly as well as my other hand (sometimes better). I could show the world now that I was really left handed, except that would be a lie and It would feel like a lie every time I left out the more impressive feat of being ambidextrous. I didn’t want to be ambidextrous. I wanted to be left handed.

For me there were two reasons becoming left handed was impossible.

I couldn’t erase my experience/competency with my right hand. I would always be more than left-handed. I am ambidextrous now.Doing most things left handed never became easier or as effortless as it was for me with my right hand in most things. I will always mostly feel like a right hander who can you his left hand well. I could fool others but I’ll never be able to fool myself. The closest I can call myself to left handed is mixed handed or I have some cross dominance, but with right handed things being more dominant.

It is very possible to become proficient with your left hand, but you can’t so easily change who you are.

I have always been ambidextrous except for writing. It wasn't until I shot a gun that I knew I was left handed. I practiced for hours and couldn't obtain the performance that I could without even thinking with my left hand. I eventually made the switch to a left handed mouse. Righties have fucked my life and I didn't even know it. We don't want your kind.

This is possibly one of the most ludicrous ideas I’ve ever heard on here. Why would you want to? Life is much harder for left handed people. From smudging when writing to using sissors, the world is rigged for the majority -right handed people. My wife is left handed. She finds it a pain, but if you’re born a leftie, you are a leftie. It’s genetic and rigged to how your brain is wired. You can emulate it with a lot of practice but you can’t become left handed any more than you can become a cat. A generation ago, morons tried to train left handers to become right handed. They failed. So will you.
Such a wish points to a deeper psychological issue. May I respectfully suggest you seek professional help.

DaVinci has been recorded in history as performing mirror writing.

It is very likely that the Vitruvian man was sketched with a mirror sketching technique.

DaVinci probably drew each side of the Vitruvian simultaneously, each side with each hand respectively.

Look at the detail differentiation between each half of the Vitruvian, and it appears quite obvious.

It's barely an inconvenience. The only things that really bother me are right handed "super ergonomic" scissors and weapons with safeties that are super awkward to reach left handed. Most of the time it's completely inconsequential.
