Also work with a basic chemistry set and possibly go to work as a rock blaster for a while. If that sounds like too much work, save your life and freedom and do something safer with your time. Explosive chemistry is a lot like electricity. You can easily do serious to fatal damage to your body and things that can not be undone. You will run afoul of some National Firearms Act laws too if you are not very careful, so your safest choice is to get into a serious engineering program and be a total square about it. If that is too much work and you still feeling like playing dangerously, get to work on your muzzle loading skills. You can also get into cannons but again, that gallops deep into NFA territory.
