Any /sci/bros going to watch the Geminid meteor shower peaking tonight? I went out last night and was seeing bursts of maybe 3 per minute on and off around 2 AM, and a friend of mine reported seeing a large burst of 5 at once.
Tonight will be twice as strong...grab a lawn chair and sit back. You can start watching as early as 10 PM in the eastern sky, but 1:30 - 2:30 AM directly overhead is best for those in the northern hemisphere.
