Phys master, maths phd here. Listen, I just don't buy the N=1 'science' behind this. It seems the motte was 'global warming' and the bailey is 'carbon emissions'. Dear /sci/, please be so kind to point me to rigorous discussions of the modelling behind man-made climate change, CO2 emissions in particular. If any of you are in the field or adjacent, please chime in. Books, reviews.
I don't buy that good models exist, I don't buy that we can solve any of the nonlinear crap we do have, and I know how funding works. All in all, extremely skeptical there is any knowledge of value in the field.
