This fetish has been with humans for a very long time. Some of our oldest myths deal with cucks. My question is: why? One would think this fetish is something that would be negatively selected for, as cucks would raise other mens' kids. But it's stuck around so there must be some evolutionary advantage to this trait. Is this a case where the individual becomes less fit but the group as a whole becomes more fit? Please discuss.
