I have noticed that ribosomes share similarities with turing machines.

One of the main differences is that ribosomes cannot peform conditional checks, even the most basic ones.
It made me wonder why.
Is it because conditional branching is simply to complex to arise from natural selection?

You see the problem is that turing machines aren't real and can never be real. They're abstractions of physical machines that really do exist but don't at all function like turing machines. Ribosomes are microscopic molecular assemblages that exist in nearly all life forms, but they're neither machines nor much like real physical computers. So, your observation is fairly useless to anyone who wants to understand real computers or real ribosomes.

Do you think the Turing machine concept is about a literal tape? No. A person with a pen and infinite paper is a Turing machine.
You clap like an autistic seal at the imagery of the the toy example Turing gave looking a bit like ribosomes.
Cellular machinery has absolutely nothing in common with Turing machines, besides storing information to recall at a later date, which is kinda embedded in the definition of "non-random complexity" to begin with.

everything physical has a quantitative aspect to is. And conditionals is only about discrete stuffs

Life is FUNDAMENTALLY about energy, entropy, and "equilibrium" / homeostatis (I'm thinking about the cell cycle)

There are a number of ways in which cells sort of compute something, but it is not in a discrete realm.

Besides, thre role of ribosomes is not to compute something but to transform information. What would do the computation would be proteins and membranes.

In a way there is conditionals. Proteins alterns between multiple conformation, and have different affinity in those comformations, which result in different chemical reactions being made.

Among the models that model this are Markov Chains. Which are similar to Finite State Machines. Except that we're not exactly dealing with conditions but more with probabilities, but still.

Gametes are not Turning machines and are not Turning complete. Somatic cells are components of the machine. You can prove this by managing to survive until the end of the universe and then making the claim at the last moment. Might be a challenge, but it's possible given the fact that we are Turning machines which are Turning complete.

No they aren't.

Living organisms really exist in the real world. Physical computers exist in the real world as well. Physical computers and organisms are not similar structurally or functionally. Turing machines do not exist anywhere and cannot exist anywhere. Even if they did they would not resemble physical computers nor living organisms. You are making things up about nature that are not possible physically.

You're only coping with the fact that you don't know shit about molecular biology, evolution, and the fundamental essence of what biology is in term of thermodynamics and information.

And yes, information is fundamental, but what you say is just wrong.

The cell cycle is firstly about thermodynamics. The cell doesn't decide anything, it is just constrained by forces and has reguatory mechanisms which make it stay in a certain dynamic equilibrium and stay on the cell cycle path.

Cells don't duplicate in the void. They can only do so because Energy is abundant in their environment, and cells haven't another choice that being penetrated by it, dissipate it and increase the Entropy of the universe.

That's how life's started, that's how life evolves, and this evolution has selected/amplificated/created information that made the genome containing the information you are talking about.

That living organisms are agent with a purpose is only an consequence and ineluctability of energy dissipating.

So you can model certain aspects of cells with automatas, but that's absolutely not the fundamental essence of life. It's only a by-product.

So you cannot say dumb things like :
