If I achieve my goals with 1.0 GPA, then so be it. Why invest my time into something, that will not contribute to my personal goals?
There are scientists who have great GPAs doing great stuff, and being innovative. They are poor though. I have no interest in being poor. If doing science paid well, perhaps I wouldve chosen a different route. It is not that I am stupid, Im just not motivated if it doesnt directly benefit me. And efficiency is a good thing in engineering.
t. did bad in exams, low grades, but got 91/100 on an academic test in the best uni in my country, being the seventh best score out of thousands. Didnt go to that uni though, because they did not teach the topic I wanted to specialize in.
