I found this, made a new thread, but it might be in place here.

"Vaccination campaigns reduce the proportion of a population at risk for infection and have proven to be highly effective in mitigating future outbreaks. This conclusion is sometimes used to suggest that an aim of vaccination campaigns is to remove susceptible members of the population to reduce the R0 for the event to <1. Although the removal of susceptible members from the population will affect infection transmission by reducing the number of effective contacts between infectious and susceptible persons, this activity will technically not reduce the R0 value because the definition of R0 includes the assumption of a completely susceptible population. When examining the effect of vaccination, the more appropriate metric to use is the effective reproduction number (R), which is similar to R0 but does not assume complete susceptibility of the population and, therefore, can be estimated with populations having immune members. Efforts aimed at reducing the number of susceptible persons within a population through vaccination would result in a reduction of the R value, rather than R0 value. In this scenario, vaccination could potentially end an epidemic, if R can be reduced to a value <1 . When the goal is to measure the effectiveness of vaccination campaigns or other public health interventions, R0 is not necessarily the best metric."

There is a formula for R, that gave me interesting results (i found the explanation in wiki to be most easy to understand), when i put some numbers in there, to see what rises R an what not, and i put some real data in there. Comments?

I read the whole research, and maybe 300 more that say the same. I watched 30+ videos made by university scientists of their lectures about this. The part, thet only if vccines make you not suspectible to virus do they count towards reducing the pandemic is ignored in my coutries official documents. We have vaccine mandates, people get fired etc., because our government thinks that vaccines help reduce spreading if the virus. The math, the ignored part, proves, that it's the other way - because vaccinated people can still get infected, and can infect others, in case of mandates exclusively for the unvaccinated, vaccination makes the epidemic worse.

I cherrypicked the whole chapter from the research, not lines, it's name is "R0 and Vaccination Campaigns." Check the link before being a smart ass, your opinion might be of worth something sometime in future.

Are there any real, mature arguments, why this research might be wrong/irrevelant or maybe are either factors that contradict it?

They aren't, you are. Two reasons:
1. mRNA vaccines aren't "experimental" and they don't cause more side effects than any other vaccine.
2. It was known since the very start that we would need multiple shots for as long as the pandemic exists. Since having Covid only makes you partially immune to it for some months, there's no reason a vaccine would protect you for life.

The problem isn't the scientists, it's people like you who believe they understand viruses, vaccines or the immune system because they watched some youtube videos.

They don't mutate as fast and you aren't going to find yourself dealing with their reservoirs (like tetanus, which, need I remind you, is once every ten years), so it's irrelevant. Besides, said childhood vaccines can involve four shots in the span of sux months, nit exactly a one-and-done deal.

By the way, flu vaccines are often reccomemded every year to children, so this isn't an argument.

The part that confuses me, is that a big part of theory gets lost in translation and does't show up in my coentries official documents. The theory surrests, that R gets lowered with every immune person. At the same time, vaccinated people can still get infected, and can infect others, so thet are not considered immune in cesa of calculating R and dont reduce it.

But, people not vaccinated, but in isolation, do.

So, every person, who gets vaccinated, and gets out of isolation, rises R.

If tis is true, 3/4 of people in my country have died because of misrepresented science, because politicians in my country got told by scientists, medics, that vaccination reduces R.

This is serious. If this is true (the research and the part that only immune people reduce R) we might be able to save lives of millions still.

I don't think that back in the 90's anyone was pulling out of the school vaccination programs in any of my local schools - but I also live in a pretty affluent area with very high levels of education

Why are you lying? We were initially told there would be no boosters, since the vaccines were so effective. There was also tremendous resistance toward the possibility of the vaccines losing their effectiveness

Then R0 is nearly useless because I'm not aware of any disease where some members of the population don't have some degree of immunity. Even with SARS-CoV-2, it's estimated 30% of the population had some immunity without ever having been exposed to the virus.
