Pediatric strokes are cared for by a specialized team of pediatrics, not by your standard stroke team, so it makes sense he might've never seen a child with a stroke. What was an ophthalmologist doing with a stroke team anyway?

They aren't but it also isn't common enough during normal times to warrant a sign on the side of a bus. Someone with a budget decided to pay to have that sign put there and you should question why they felt it necessary.

The doctor is lying. Stokes in kids have always been common. Heart attacks in young adults have always been common. Anyone telling you otherwise is a Nazi chudcel. Honesly, I don't know, anon. In families with people having genes predisposing to strokes, children can have strokes too; or it can be a freak occurrence. The fact he has never witnessed it is like a doctor claiming phimosis isn't real because he has never seen it by working in a geriatric ward or in gynecology.
