Math vs applied math vs physics
I took 2 years off uni to self study pure math which got me through linear/abstract algebra and up to vector calculus/real analysis/some topology. The ride was smooth up until some graduate textbooks concerning measure theory and manifolds.I found myself reading the first 20 pages and then losing motivation. So I was wondering if pure maths is not the right path for a guy like me,and if I should pursue applied maths or even physics.Thoughts?
