Every country has done sadistic human experiments. I'm curious what successes they have had from it all though. Like I find it hard to believe the Nazis with a seemingly unlimited budget and more than enough test subjects didn't learn any groundbreaking medical successes. Same goes with the US and MK Ultra

They may have been interested in treating shock.

The Nazi experiment that most interests me is was there effort to create a set of drugs that would give fighters superhuman endurance for a few days. The cocktail they came up with was basically speed + strong pain killers. This mix has been used by terrorists and most likely by special forces.
