SSRIs are pushed on anyone who presents enough of one of many checklists. A high IQ person will eventually quit them over loss of authenticity of thought.
Stimulants are pushed on anyone who presents attention deficit and, I hear, they're now socialized on campuses. A high IQ person will probably be astute enough to realize that these are damaging their reward centers and that the long term trade offs are not worth it. They'll be kept as a tool but rarely used.
Sleep aids I can see if the person needs to keep a sleep schedule. They're problematic but sleep is required and inflexible schedules, imposed by institutions and family are coercive.
