I used to love math when I was in highschool. At some point I started learning on my own because of how much I enjoyed doing it.
Now I am finishing my last year of master's in applied math and I hate it. University killed my interest for anything remotely scientific.
I'm getting more and more depressed because I will soon have to look for a job in that field.
