Hey guys, can you guys explain to me and tell me the equation you use to find the area of the colored part of the circle. The height of the colored area is 0.8 meters and the Radius of the whole circle is 1.9 meters. Thanks!

use trig to find arc angle
arc angle/360*pi r^2=section
section-triangle=ans

That triangle is an iscoceles triangle so you can split it into two even right triangles. Just do pythagoreans theorem, remeber the hypotenus is it's radius, and one leg is radius, minus the height of the shaded area. Then do the equation for area of a triangle 1/2(base)*(height). Then do arctan of half the base of that triangle, double it and multiply by pi r^2, then subtract the volume of the iscoceles triangle. Easy-peasy
