Valid question, you should be able to estimate it from solar cycles indefinitely. I haven't looked into it but I gave a forecast to cooling by 2060 at levels a little above 18th century.

There actually is a explanation. Earth gets e17 watts sunlight. Oceans at 300k are e27 joules. There's e8 seconds in three years.
300 years fills up the oceans with solar energy. Then without albedo that's a century or so, then 50 years somehow.

Because it's the water cycle, warm water gets moved around the oceans. when it comes of to the surface we get temperature effects

Alright, it seems that OP's belief relies on the sole fact that there was a peak solar activity roughly 60 years ago.

What's particularly funny is that the same data suggests we should be seeing a temperature drop now, as there was sunspot drop in 1970.
