Geology. You get to go out into the field staying in little huts with the only warmth being the wood you chopped yourself, then go out into the middle of nowhere and look for cool rocks. One that's done, you can go back home, cut up your rocks in the lab, then look at them with a microscope and figure out what it is. Very cozy
