If you were to make a spring out of one, and heat and cool it, could you make it vibrate excitedly.
By heating and cooling springs with powder making them vibrate, could you could theoreticly create enough lift to say, keep an object in the mid air for a short time? The object would be of course on fire and producing lots of heat. The springs could be used to move wings which would generate lift.
The springs would only need to be used once and last maybe 3-5 seconds.
My aim is pyrotechnic engineering.
