I probably skimmed it at the beginning of the year, but that's about it. I especially wasn't paying attention to the grading structure because 90% of the classes so far have the same (Midterm/Final are seven gorillion points while Homework equals ten). I've never had a class where a single homework problem is the same as the final

At least the teacher was great though. I just question the logic.

It's way too late to turn back now. I'm a senior with only 3 classes after this. The only reason I am putting up with this class now is because there's a 10% chance of me going to grad school after this

Its to weed out autistic people. I think you are missing two things:
(1) you are viewing the homework as preparation for the exam which determines the grade, but in reality here the homework is also part of the exam.
(2) homework should also test if you are reliable and clean if it comes to assignments in general but also when they are uncomfortable (be that from them being too hard for you or too easy - doesnt matter)

I wouldn't want some autistic retard as a colleague that has good grades and understanding of the topic, but can't work through problems that he finds annoying or even worse, starts constantly bitching about it even though we cant do anything about it.
