How do eye drops work? What's contamination?

So I went to the doctor for my usual eye checkup and he told me that I have an eye infection, now he told me to get some eye drops BUT he told me DO NOT USE THEM AFTER THE 15 DAYS I TOLD YOU OR YOU WILL GO BLIND. Don't keep using them and your dosage is for 15 days, three times a day.

The eye drops are moxifloxacin + dexamethasone but I have ONE doubt, many sites do tell me to
>If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Use your next dose at the regular time. Do not double the dose to catch up.

> Use this medicine only as directed by your doctor. Do not use more of it, do not use it more often, and do not use it for a longer time than your doctor ordered. This medicine is not for long-term use.

What happens if you accidentally get two eye drops into one eye?

You see, I'm a bit nervous and besides, when I opened the drop there was a bit of one still on the tip, like a bubble, all clean though, so when the drop came out, it could technically, logically, abstractly count as two. Am I being too paranoid?
