Beliefs on these matters aside, does the AMA / Fauci really think this is going to be helpful to persuade the country to listen to them? The arrogance of these officials is through the roof. Am I missing something? Why are they able to talk about Covid-19 with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY but then admit previously they didn't have all the science (e.g. masks increase your risk of getting covid https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/02/health/surgeon-general-coronavirus-masks-risk-trnd/index.html, also see fauci's comments in above youtube video about this)?

Sheesh, I'm no conspiracy theorist but the inconsistency and lack of transparency is turning me into one. Someone please change my mind/enlighten me.
