What would happen to a corpse if it was placed in a hermetically sealed container and then blasted with enough gamma rays to kill everything in the container? Would the corpse remain in perfect condition indefinitely in its sterile environment or would some weird chemical reactions happen anyway that would cause it to decay and fall apart over time?
