Can someone explain leaky vaccines to me?

If understand this correctly, leaky vaccines create populations that is entirely dependent on vaccine since they promote spread of "stronger" mutations.

Covid vaccines are leaky.
Even though outside of risk group(which I think should be vaccinated) covid is not deadly.
There is strong push for mandatory vaccination for all.

So, won't it create population strongly dependant on yearly/quarterly vaccination?
As each new variant will be "stronger" due to leaky vaccination?
Or am I missing something.

Yeah just think about natural immunity vs the covid vaccines, it only vaccinated against the original covid 19 spike protein. With any variation to the spike protein would slide past that, vs natural immunity gives you immunity to the whole virus. So having the whole virus mutate and then coming into contact with that version is much more unlikely than the leaky vaccine. I believe this is also the reason the vaccines don't actually stop transmission, as the antibodies you need in your nose and what not simply won't get trained.

The whole thing is really playing with fire. There's no guarantee we'll even be able to keep up with the virus. And people won't have a choice on whether or not to vaccinate, we'll be forced to, even if the vaccines turn deadly themselves. And this probably won't be limited to SARS-CoV-2. I see influenza being next. The poultry industry is already dealing with more dangerous bird flus. That could spill over to humans, or forcing the flu vaccine on everyone could provide selective pressure for it to become more deadly since current flu vaccines suck.
