I can take 30 mg adderall XR and it could last me the day more or less. If I take 20 mg vyvanse, I'll start crashing within 6 hours max. To stay productive I have to take from 40 to 60 mg vyvanse throughout the day and then when the crash does come, I have to drown it in booze or smoke weed to cope. I found the most functional stimulant to be concerta. Never had the desire to redose, never felt a crash like amps (only felt tired after effects wore off), it never made me manic like amps do. But it's not easy to get a hold of because everyone wants the cracked out high amphetamines give you, so that's what all the dealers are selling.
But my point was that I am indeed trying to move away from stimulants. It's also intriguing that some of these so-called nootropic drugs are purported to reverse brain damage/trauma.
