The Traits of the Species are defined by what is left over after the other parts die, not the conditions of the environment in which they live which they are gaming with change. (That is a human trick). There is no “evolution” that is choosing traits. Death is choosing who dies! So to then artificially say that it is only the biology that matters is foolish. The behavior is just as important in not dying as the biology.
IT doesn’t even have anything to do with dying before mating. Even after it mates and makes more, if more of them die off than the other combinations, then those traits disappear.
What these new scientists are doing is breaking down the artificial barriers first put up by those before them.
So I say, “Funny how people fight the removal of artificial divisions, but don't complain about the original division that separated them in the first place.”
