>>13920328Excellent thread OP. It sums up my feelings exactly. For a few years I have browsed and commented on /sci/ but recently I just feel its an utter waste of time. No one can have a serious discussion on anything. 99% of posts are by trolls, morons, ESL idiots, and children. Just occasionally someone will post an interesting topic which might get a couple of intelligent replies, but it soon gets swamped by the fuckwits. Even the entertainment value has declined considerably to the point where /sci/ is barely worth visiting for a laugh, but your post did make me chuckle. Its a good way to permanently leave this pretend science board on a good note.
