>>13914419The loss of trust in almost all out institutions is very apparent in my community/peer group. I live in the Bay Area so about as left-leaning as you can get, and even the folks here are openly flouting the remaining restrictions and mostly shrugging off the news of the new variant.
There will be long lasting and severe repercussions from the 'Trust the Science' narrative that has consumed the media.
