Is there a single shred of evidence that COVID vaccines offer any benefit to people who've recovered from COVID?

What I don't understand is why everyone cares so much what recovered victims do. We already had the virus, so we shouldn't be of any concern whatsoever. We can neither die from it nor spread it.
