Human civilization can continue, it might actually be beneficial in the long run, without so many mouths to feed, and result in not only a sustainable economic model for the future but also give impetus to advancing science in worthwhile directions ( rather than the deluge of pointless trivia much of science has become ). However if instead we get wet bulb temps it will make all the higher life forms and most of the lower ones extinct. In that case there will likely be insufficient time for advanced sentient life to evolve again before the sun burns out, even if global temperatures eventually do go back down.
