I've scoured the internet and people think race is a "social construct". I've been delaying to address this for the past year because I thought that it didn't matter given I'm a STEM (remove the ST) major. But, I've heard this 60x now and I realize now this is hard to avoid.

So, instead of looking on Wiki, I am deciding to buy some books and ones written by GENETICISTS/BIOLOGISTS, not limp-dick sociologists.

Does anybody have some book recommendations for the mathematically literate (or illiterate; I'm nearly done with a BS in Math)? Or, could we get a list going? I want to get to the bottom of this and 50x quora pages just telling others, "race is a construct made by white people to do racism", without any explanation at all isn't convincing.

I need some guidance, and I don't want to buy random books that would prove useless. What I am sure about is these two authors: "Reich" and "Jenson". Idk the rest, nor where else to start.
