One reason you know Lasik and PKR is shit for your eyes is that the top prefer to wear eye glasses if they have myopia. Contrary to popular belief, LASIK actually has a ton of complications like chronic dry eye, decreased peripheal resolution, and it only lasts for 5 years anyways.

Can confirm. I paid a good buck to have it done by an """expert""" in the field and am now suffering from chronic dry eye, halos and blurry vision that comes and goes in my right eye. Never, ever trust (((medical experts))) unless you're convinced you're going to die in any case.
