It's an abstract, nobody on either side has an argument here. It simply outlined a conference presentation and nothing more. You cannot make an argument for or against any data at this stage.

Virtually no cardiologist in the world even uses the biomarker mentioned in the abstract. The only other publication I could find which makes use of it is an abstract by the same author claiming his diet plan is able to give better results.

This is what independent fact checkers are up to on Facebook now. The post was from a friend whose mother gave her the jewelry but for some reason Facebook decided it needed to fact check this. According to Facebook, the quote on the jewelry can not definitively be proven to have been made by Emerson. Even if the independent fact checkers are correct here, why was this even necessary? It's a mother giving a gift to her daughter, not remote medical diagnosis of a politician's mental state or a claim about vaccine effectiveness.
Imagine being at a family gathering, you get this for your birthday, and a busybody cousin butts in to tell you that the gift is incorrect because it can't be proven that the quote is accurate. These tech companies really think they are the gods of the universe. "Independent fact checkers" should be named. Otherwise they're no different than "unnamed sources say" in that you can make anything up and claim "independent fact checkers" agree with you even if they don't exist.
