Manufacturing method for the vaccine's constituents is imperfect. Much of the material is full of errors. Many of those degenerate materials can never the less execute actual programs. Apparently the manufacturing method generated myocarditis-inducing programs more frequently than lesions-on-legs-inducing programs for who knows what reason. There’s a few ways, the most straightforward theory is that some of the vaccine is expressed in the heart and the affected cells get killed by your immune system.
Men would be more affected because there are blood vessels in their deltoid muscles, and dosage explains why it happens more in Moderna than Pfizer.
The injection is always going to end up in your bloodstream in some capacity, aspiration or not.

Its a nice redflag to recognize anyone with a lack of knowledge on anatomy, physiology and immunology.
See all the people who think the deltoid has a large vein or artery, or that not aspirating it increased the chance of myocarditis.

Was it not supposed to get into the muscle cells and there produce spike protein?

The spike proteins that would normally be attached to the virus likely bounce around and jam themselves randomly and incorrectly through the blood stream and into random cells. In theory the fact that they are missing the "ball" they are attached to could cause them to be jammed into cells "backwards" and this would increase clotting by a wide margin, also the spikes themselves might clump together and fold incorrectly, thus forming prions.
