Anyone here who lied a little bit on their resume and got into grad school?
I have decent resume, but the university I'm applying to needs a little more research experience than I've got, in order to be considered a strong candidate. So, I included this one small startup company name, where I worked for one month before quitting. I just stopped working because of college workload.
I have solid recommendations from other places I have done my research work. And the work I did later on was much harder than what I had to do in that startup.
Can I get away with it?
Or do they do a strict background check??
Thanks
