I'm reading conflcting information. Some say 40 because 60 is too hot and the enzymes will be gimped. Others say 60 is fine, better than 40 in fact albeit 40 is ok too. I wish I had a setting for 50 :(
The enzyme activity is more important to me than the benefits of a hotter wash, even on 60 and sometimes even 90, non-bio just doesn't do the job for me, doesn't get my weird sweat musty smells out, my clothes still end up smelling stale as fuck. Obviously good enzyme activity + 60 > good enzyme activity + 40, but if 60 prevents good enzyme activity then obviously I need to switch down to 40. So that is the question.
