My friend is a conspiracy nut, and has been trying to convince me that 'Oumuamua' approached Earth closer than it approached any other planet, when it came into our solar system.
That has to be bullshit right? Wouldn't it have approached closer to the sun, because the sun has the bulk of the mass in our solar system, therefore it should have approached Venus or Mercury closer than it approached Earth?
