Is there a name for this concept? Does it make sense?
I think the faster the pendulum is spinning the more force it can counterbalance on the other side of the fulcrum.
Importantly, the pendulum is not a flywheel, its inertia is interacting with the rest of the system, and it is not accelerating for this effect like a flywheel would need to do. It would require an input of energy to continue spinning, but should exhibit this behavior under constant rotation speed.
