I don't think they teach developmental biology in grade school. Shoot, even a lot of bio majors in college probably don't even get an in depth class on developmental biology.

To me that just reinforces the theory of the intelligent design. All those other animals were God's attempt to create humans, that's why their embryos are so similar but the end result so different.

Yeah, that's the scientific answer, but it doesn't invalidate the mystical one. Both can coexist, how do you prove that the reason they all have the same spinal cord and nervous system is just a coincidence rather than a design decision? You can't, at least not scientifically.

they did for me, and I live in kansas of all places, shit in highschool bio 1 we learned about DNA, RNA, ribosomes, and all of that shit in depth. I was definitely surprised most people didn't already know this stuff when covid happened
