You are that certain way because you've let your habits form such that you don't include studying/work in your habits
Your monkey brain tries to stay with built-in habits for as long as possible and reject changes to those habits by making you throw a temper tantrum
If you actually, consciously prioritize studying/work over all other things, and remove triggers from your current habits (e.g., you always walk to your chair of your computer and sit down; instead, purposefully DON'T sit down, or better yet, don't even go in the same room), your brain will relent and incorporate studying/work into your habits.
Basically, stop being a whiny bitch and just do the damn work first before anything else. If you promise yourself you'll do it later, "after just a few games or reading a few articles I swear", you've already failed
