this isn't strictly science, but it does relate to math (statistics). was wondering if anyone had credible sources that either argue for or against the meme i see everywhere that "women make less than men for doing the same exact work". first, i'm not sure that's even the phrase that's thrown around, but i heard that instantiation of it recently and it didn't sound right. it feels more like one of those things people parrot without having any actual knowledge of the details behind said meme. anyone? thanks.
