The term free will is the problem, it becomes an issue of semantics if you’ve seen any of the threads. Nobody can define it.
I assert, we use the phrase, “degrees of freedom”, to continue the philosophical and scientific debate.
Already with the term, it separates ideas of being entirely free, with how much freedom there is available.
As time has passed and consciousness has developed, the greater our skills, the greater our will. This discounts the past and causality in its total form and gives us gaps in decision making and imagination that comes from this quantum form Vs standard view
With this, we can even define free will as a state of complete freedom that eventually arises once enough time has passed and conditions are met
A being total sufficient in and of itself in survival and desire with unlimited capacity would be beyond the scope of our measly 124iq avg perception
