Absolute dogshit. How are you not taking advanced physics and/or analysis courses? You know combinatorics is literally just rehashing the counting shit from discrete mathematics with the useful method of generating functions tacked on in 1-2 lectures at the end of the semester, which you could literally just learn by reading the textbook for 30 minutes. Mathematical modeling is something business majors take as a required course. And engineering stats... No.

Analysis is cringe easy shit. If he is doing applied math he will be doing things that actually matter like stochastic methods or PDEs in his last year.
The only analysis that matters is numerical analysis. Real and complex is just an easy A GPA padder.
