Alright bros I'm having a hard time understanding how the 2nd law of thermodynamics ties into cosmology. I've been looking at different models and I've seen people say that the oscillating model doesn't work because of this law but I'm having a hard time understanding exactly what it really means. I understand how it works with simple everyday things but not the universe itself. Can someone give me a simple explanation as to why this disproves the oscillating model (If it does)?
