The wet air would rise and bring more wet air from the ocean. We would have to start doing things that keep water inland. Divert Nile in southern Egypt (it partially already happens because of the assuan dam) to create a lake in the Qattara depression. Divert Niger north, so that it flows into Sahara instead of turning back into the ocean. Restoring mediterranean forests may be a big part. Regreening mesopotamea may help,
esp.in the arabic peninsula. Restoring Mega-Chad might be key.
