I often hear about declining rainfalls and desertification. I also hear a lot about humanity draining aquifers faster than they can fill and confined aquifers going dry altogether.
However, if we're extracting so much water to the surface than shouldn't this water be evaporating and joining the climate cycle. Why isn't there more rain from all we're sucking up?
