Nothing is not separation as separation can be quantified
Thus two things that are have 'nothing' in between them, that are separated by a void, is there really nothing in between them, or is there a quantifiable distance? or a time?
In this world though and speaking practically, 0 is the lack of a given thing or set of things at a given time in a given frame
To answer one of OP's points, no 0 (or nothing) cannot be God because for nothing to exist, NOTHING must exist
