>>13878537>hardit is not hard, its just absurdly expensive. in todays money, adjusted for inflation, the apollo missions would cost $288 billion USD. and nasa does not have the financial backing as it had in the cold war. for example nasas entire budget for the year 2020 was just 22.6 billion USD. they cant blow i all on one moon shot when they have to pay the bills to keep the iss running and do other missions as well
